I have the OEM SI lip on my 99, I scrape all the time if I don't take my driveway at a sharp angle, or with 2+ people in the car. Like was said, it's all underneath so you can't see it.

I've had the lip 14 months and the only visible damage is rock chipping. If it gets worse, I'm just going to sand, bondo, primer and paint it again like I did when I got it -- no worries here.

Get the lip over the kit.

 

It was winter and I didn't feel like freezing trying to clean it at the coin op.

 

Aight well made my decision and ordered my front mugen lip and rear type r lip for a package deal of $160. Thanks for advice and all fellas! :thumbup:
