yeah, I think exedy is actually the OEM producer of honda clutches, so it should be as good as OEM.

I just bought a Exedy/Daiken clutch from this site.

http://www.clutchcityonline.com/

It was $115 shipped for a new clutch disk (organic), pressure plate, pilot bearing, throwout bearing and alignment tool. I was worried it would be junk considering the price but I'm going back to school so money's real tight and about 2000 miles later, I have no complaints. The stock clutch disk I pulled out had Daiken stamped on it too and their made by Exedy. I don't know if I'd try to push a turbo or nitrous system through it, but for a stock replacement like my car, it's seems fine and I can't argue with the price.

Back to the question off cost, labor alone will be $200-250 for most places. That's why chose to do it myself (with the help of a friend).

so the stealership would prob. charge him around 400ish

he thinks I am being rediculous by charging him 250 including parts and the refurbed flywheel... but he doesnt know anything about cars...so he is gonna call the dealership tomorrow which I told him was a big waste of time but if it makes him feel better about it then whatever.
