Guys with 96-2000 civics, with GSR front leathers check in here
Hey well I've been researching this for a few nights now and can't seem to find a write up on how to put gsr leather seats into a 6th gen civic. I read some places that only 3 of the 4 bolts line up and the 4th can be secured with a washer....Other places said swap the sliders...Anyone have any pictures of their set ups?
Just put the 3 bolts in. Even in the 92-95 the bolt lineup is the same. You will not feel a diffrence with the 3 bolts the 4th bolt will be in the rear inner side. And your seat will not be moving around so go ahead and put them in.
ok, to end all i guess, i think, and it should....
3g teg front seats bolt in 5g civics problem free.
3g teg front seats in 6g civic requires you to swap the ek rails over to the 3g teg seats, after that its an bolt on affair.
swappin the rails at most takes bout 15 min, its held down i believe by couple of 12mm bolts. i have help my friend put my old gsr leathers in his ek and we swap the rails and it bolted in like stock. have fun.

I'm pretty sure I figured everything out. You have to swap the inner rail from the 6th gen seat onto the integra seat.. Anyways, you guys have any suggestions on what to lube the sliders with?

just do yourself a favor, take an extra 15-30 minutes to swap the rails and they should bolt up perfectly fine.

ESPECIALLY, if the 4th bolt that doesn't fit is the inner back right (driver) or inner back left (passenger). each and every one of these bolts are necessary to keep your seat firmly planted on the base of the car and if you happen to get into a seroius accident or a rollover, you will most likely die or get crushed after the seat decides to leave it's spot.
