what are these switches for and do they have to stay together? I would do a setup where the cup holder is or in the glove compartment if they aren't used frequently. the armrest tab things are a good idea too. I always thought it would be cool to install aftermarket power door lock buttons there like in the bmw's. EDM yo!h:

Check out this
http://stores.ebay.com/Racing-Gauges...isplayZ2QQtZkm

I am not this seller, but i purchased one of his block off plates, and they are awesome. If you are looking for something to mount gauges or switches in a 96-00 i would get one of these. The plate is about about a 1/4 thick urethane and you can just lay it in place and it fits snug. Just thought i would share, i have tried making one of these plates out of fiber glass and his fits much better.

It's simple to make those plates out of abs plastic or sometime of stuff from Home Depot.

on the left of the steering wheel there is a little plastic piece that pops out right next to the power mirror/sunroof control. I put my dimmer switch for my indiglos there.

that was a fabicated box out of raw metal stock.. the idea is make a box to hold them.... and drill holes in it so you can secure it to the dash with screws...
