Timing Belt
I know there have been tons of threads about this but me and the search button just don't get along very well. I just contacted my aunt and she said they never changed the timing belt when they had the car. The car now has 116K miles on it and I heard it should be changed around 80K-90K. How hard is it to do it yourself and bout how much so timing belts cost?

Still here... sorta...
A buddy of mine said he got one from www.hondaautomotiveparts.com for his D16Y8 for $15.
They're easy to change if you can get the crank pulley bolt off. The hardest part usually is getting them back on there right. h:

Timing belts are very inexpensive. When I changed my timing belt, I also changed the water pump as well. I also bought my parts from Honda and the total for both the pump and belt was $85. Give or take $10.00, I can't remember exactly.
As for doing it yourself. If you have power tools and can give a day's work on it then go for it. If not just take it somewhere to get done. Except I would still get the parts yourself and just pay for labor.

Hmm.....I don't have any power tools. Only tools I have are the basic tool set tools. I heard with labor, belts are like $300+. I don't have that kinda money to be dishing out. Hm....
