the swap and everything went smooth and the car starts and runs good but the idle is shiotty! the comp. throws a cel for the iac valve are these different in an auto and 5speed and if so then do we just swap them or is there different wiring or what? has anyone had this problem before?

 

the iac on the new one may be bad. try to swap over the iac from the other engine.

if not you can take the iac off, and try to clean it and see what happens.
