Default Need some advice

I'd like to perform some suspension mods to my car (96 Civic LX) but I'm unsure how to proceed. I'm looking for some of you guys/girls that have done various mods to know what you think.

First I'll tell you what I've done:

Rear SI sway bar
ES end links up front
AGX shocks with stock springs.
15 inch wheels with 205/50/15 kumho 712s

The problem I have is that the car is really bouncy and doesn't handle quite the way I want it to. I want to put springs in, but I don't want to lose a lot of height. The driveways in my town suck hardcore, they are some of the worst I've ever seen. My stock height scrapes sometimes using an angled approach. I also don't really want coil overs if I can avoid them, but I would entertain the notion. I'm thinking of a pro-kit because of the limited drop. Will springs eliminate the bouncy nature of the ride or is bounciness part of having a properly tuned suspension?

Next, I’m thinking of installing a larger front sway bar and larger rear sway bar. I believe Comptec makes a kit that contains the front and rear bars and a 'beaks' type reinforcement kit for the rear bar.

Finally, I'm looking at a front tower brace. Nuespeed to be exact. It has the four mounting points and I've heard a lot of good things about them.

What can you guys tell me about these different options? Any that you'd recommend? I'm still learning a lot about proper suspension tuning so please go easy on me.

here we go....the AGXs will be just fine, but I rec. some type of performance spring over stock, because the 15 inch wheels will look teeny and your car will look like a baja buggy. Bigger rear sway = overstear bigger front = understeer, talk to CivicSiRacer or white n slow to figure out just what you want your suspension to do....what are your plans for the car, track, auto-x? there are a lot of questions to point you where you want to go with your suspension

ITR springs. Cheap, factory part, and only drops the car .75-1" overall. I put a set on my car along with a set of Koni Sports and couldn't be happier in the ride and drop.

I don't really have any plans for the car in the near future, but eventually I'd like to do a swap and get into the 13 second area. I'd like it to handle well enough for auto-x and still be able to drive it everyday. Mostly this will be a long term project car that when finished, I can drive it on the weekends with my wife. I'd like to maintain as much of the factory appearance as I can. Basically a street sleeper aspect is what I'm after. That's why I stuck with the OEM Honda 15 inch steel rims and caps. I hope this makes sense.

Any year ITR springs will work. You can pick them up used for $100 to $150.

For any OEM Acura parts, check with Len @ Baranco Acura (1-888-722-7262 and ask for the Acura Store) or Bert @ Gettel Acura (1-800-741-2557).
