the brake swap is already in the works :rick:

yeah with my 17s the gap was extremely minimal on the pro-kits...now that I have the fiteens the gap is jymungous.....

GC coilovers can range anywhere from $250-$339 depending on where you get them (groupbuys etc...) But if you wan't custom rates, you'll either have to stumble onto somebody selling the rates you want (not very likely) or buy them directly from Ground Control for full price. The limited edition coilovers are $339 directly from them.

Anothe option would be to buy the one-size-fits-all civic kit (it wouldn't matter where you bought this, the "stock" rates are 375f/250r i think) and buy a pair of stiffer springs for the rear... that way you'd have a winter setup (so you don't slide around in the snow) and a summer setup (to tear it up at the autoX's). Replacement springs are $50 a pop, or you could check H-T for some used ones. I'm planning on getting a pair of "winter" springs for the rear next winter if I can manage.

Having autocrossed on both, I think my setup speaks for itself (That means yellows, BTW )

Honestly, they're both good shocks. The damping of the illuminas is pretty good, and the adjustment is OK. I find the yellows have a stiffer "stiff" setting, and a wider range of adjustment. I honestly think these are the best shocks I'll ever need. (and considering how anal I am about my susp, thats saying a lot).

what is the price diff. between the two...I mean if it is only a hundred bucks or so I would rather get the best of the two

I think I paid $515 shipped for my yellows. I forget how much the tokicos cost, but it was a lot less than that (maybe ~$400? ). I think the yellows are worth the price :dunno:

I guess when it comes down to the suspension the shocks I buy will be the ones that fit in the suspension budget.

I like the teins h:
Correction....Tein Stechs are 1.8 front and rear. Tis wat I got. IMO....rims are too small...but thats coming from a guy who is rocking 17s. Only small rims I've seen that I like so far are Josh's.....but thats only because I saw them in person today and with all the other exterior stuff he has who wouldn't like em?
