car jerks violently
i have a 95 civic with a sir-II in it. When I get up to higher rpms my car with start to jerk and cut out but then i push the clutch in 4 a couple seconds and it will drive normal. Also the CEL is on and flashing code 7 which is the tps. Also when it is starting to jerk the CEL will shut on and off then back on. I had replaced the tps once but still shows the code. Could it be a fuel problem or something esle? Any help would be nice.
Yeah, it's obviously a toasted TPS. If it is broken or worn out, it will have dead spots in it's travel which will make the car freak out.
Try adjusting or replacing the TPS and you should be fine.

could be wiring.... if you've ever jacked the motor out, and gotten the wiring caught on the fuel filter or something, it can be a connection that is intermitant. When it jerks, it may be reconnecting.... Just a thought.
I had the same thing happen on my civic because of a busted TPS plug (swap damaged). It fell off. I zip-tied it back on and it's fine now.
Testing 2 of the pins on it with a voltmeter should result in a .5 to 4.5v sweep as it's opened. If it ever reads 0v or "offline", it's toast. Haynes and HELMS covers this test.

when i first had my b16, it would cut out on the top end too.... it turned out that my stock pump wasnt pumping enough fuel... but since u have the CEL, its most likely the tps.
