Default Exhaust For Itr Swap?

00 Ek Hatch To Itr Swap...

Going For The Full B18c5 Swap At The End Of Next Month! I Wanna Get Everything Ready Now So It Will Be Easy To Manage When I Put The Engine In. What Would You Recommend I Do For Exhaust In This Setup. I Don't Plan On Doing Turbo, Just A Na Setup For Now. I Was Thinking Apex-i Wsii And A High Flow Cat.

How about a RS*R Cat-Back Exhaust, ITR header, and a 2.5 High Flow Cat?

Sounds like a good exhaust setup. What header are you thinking?

Was just gonna use the ITR header that came with (CTR prolly would work better). I'm not sure, but i think that stuff doesn't all bolt up exactly right. Might have to make a custom flange into the cat on either the exhaust or header. Am I right?

I have a 97 ek with a jdm itr b18c. If you get a jdm header: I went with the T1R (type one racing) exhaust. It is 2.5" and allows room for a cat. If you get a standard dx/cx usdm exhaust it will be right at the header leaving no room for a cat. The t1r is designed for a ctr and leaves room for a cat. I had a carsound with custom extensions put in, but a jdm itr or ctr cat will work.

You can't use a B16 (CTR) header on a B18 block. The header isn't tall enough to wrap around the block.
