Well, I checked the ECU to the Dist. Harness. I also checked it on the right side wall (the 4 harnesses that connect from the Engine block to the firewall. And all I found was nothing. There are two wires that come out from the Distributor that connect to the driver's side and goes through that side I haven't checked yet. The first is a thicker Black/Yellow and the second is a straight blue wire. According to your diagram the Blue wire isn't even there. The Black/Yellow Wire goes from the Distributor to the ignition (I'm assuming) and also to the Main Relay (and upshift indicator light etc.). It's interesting to see that from the diagram, the black/yellow wire doesn't come from harness in the distributor. So now I'm completely going nuts trying to figure out what it is. FYI I do have a P30, VX engine harness, using the old harness from the DX under the dash. Swapped Main relay and coil and distributor should be fine since it ran before.

Well shitters! I didn't tell you that the diagram on my web page wouldn't help you because I saw your post said it was going in a DX. I didn't know you were using a VX harness. If you read the bottom of that diagram, you'll see it says "all models except VX". The VX harness is actually different from all other EG's. Sorry for throwing you off. I hope I didn't waste too much of your time. You're going to need a different diagram, and I don't have that one.

You could install the DX harness, and just wire in the VTEC stuff. It's not that hard, and I believe somebody has a FAQ on it.

We're troubleshooting it all the way through. Your diagram helped a bit. Here's the kicker: We jumped the power to the fuel pump and it started. We jumped the main relay harness and the car started (equilavent to turning the key all the way to ignition)
so we're figuring that somehow there's no power going INTO the main relay to power anything up. I now have two main relays that work (we put it into a del sol to test and the car started right up.) so we're headed somewhere. Just where, I don't know yet.
