Default Climate Control acting weird...

My climate control slider thing for the ac-heat option...it wont go all the way down the slider...like itll stop 1/2" before the end of the control... its for a 95 civic. I checked under the dash to see if the gears were functioning correctly and they are...and today it almost wouldnt slide back to the a/c option...

its not a big deal thats its doing this, its just bothering me that this damn thing is doing this!

any suggestion what might be wrong?

I use to have that problem. in my case..... the wire was stuck on something... if you check around the pass. foot area (near the airbag ecu thing).. there is a wire you mite what to take a peek at it and see if anything is in the way..
