for the cam seal should I use hondabond HT or hondabond 4?

Use HT hondabond. The other stuff is for a different application.

I used HT I think. My almost completely full tube burst open too (I just noticed a few days ago!). You just use a little around the corners of the valve cover to keep it from leaking.

I think it's used on reassembly of transmission cases and diff's. I could be wrong though. I just use HT all the time. I heard before the hondabond-4 stays a different consistanty I think like it flexs more. I'm really not sure.

The bigger question I think is why is Hondabond soo damn expensive?

would this keep my valve cover from leaking oil?
