I think it's used on reassembly of transmission cases and diff's. I could be wrong though. I just use HT all the time. I heard before the hondabond-4 stays a different consistanty I think like it flexs more. I'm really not sure.

The bigger question I think is why is Hondabond soo damn expensive?
