well i kno an h22a is a bitch of a swap into a civic.. my friend had a h22a in his civic, and he went through axles like no other. h22a in a civic is bad idea, ive heard numerous horror stories on this board.

H22A swap is just fine as long as you spend the money where you need to spend money...such as dont skimp on the mounts, get good axles, etc.

by blown gsr, how blown? i would just rebuild the gsr, or you could always build a b20 to take the higher rpms, that would be sicker than a h22 imo. would probably make close to the same power too.

An H22A has a greater all motor potential. If you really feel like taking on that swap and understand how it's done, go for it.

I would say go with the GSR. For one thing it's easier to do the swap yourself.

if you really want to go all motor then the h22 has the torque that you will need. all of the b18's are pretty skimp on torque. im a b18 fan just because that is what i have always had until now and im about to have another. if you spend money where you need to in building it then you wont be dissapointed either way but the b18 is a turbo lover. i have heard that the h22 doesnt take boost well but as far as i see it the h22 is just as capable of putting down the same numbers. end of story-h22 is your best bet for all motor. i havent seen many b18's that are streetable that dip into the 12's being all motor.

Definately go with the GSR much easier and i think they perform better, and parts are much easier to get for them.
