how are the laws up where you live? sure you can put a b18a1 in your 5th gen...ive seen them in 6th gens. the law states that the engine must be the same or newer than the car.(correct me if i am wrong.)

Anything OBD1 would be easier, but yeah, you can do it. As long as you can get the wiring harness from the LS engine so you can wire in the original ecu for that engine, it shouldn't be a problem. Just time consuming. If you're getting the engien cheap, you'd be better off selling it to a crx or 4th gen owner and making a profit off it...

Not sure they'd do it, but why not get a new head and resell the car for 1000?

the body is pretty chewed, my boss is a fireman, they used it for a drill car, the doors are cut off and the windows are all smashed out.... not worth the effort to repair it all....

like i say, i just want the rear disk conv. and the motor swap!

you can swap that ls motor in but itll be a little tougher than a 94+ since its non-obd and has a cable tranny
