Default Questions about stuff

Ok I'm not sure what this is, but it's busted. Is it the rack and Pinion?? If so, how hard is it to replace it.

Oh and by the way is a 15-gal 150PSI air compressor good enough for working on teh car ($200 at Sears :naughty: )

For someone who has done some minor fixes like, tune-ups, axle changes, and clutch change... will it be hard??

does that shaft directly go through the center of your rotor and does it have a gear at the end? if so it is your axles thats a maybe 45-1hr fix and it is all not that hard.

like I said it's your rack and pinion

I will get you instructions or something sometime tonight/tomorrow so you know what kinda job it is.

wait...shit, you have a mirage don't you? I don't know if i can get you instructions then. sorry mang

although i did check on labor times and you are looking at 4.1 hours to have someone do it... probably 7-10 if you do it yourself. that is for a 95 mirage with 1.8l sohc

thats actually your inner tierod. go buy an oem one and take it somewhere to get it done and then have an alignment done immediately afterwards.
