sweet dude i'm glad your happy.. cuz i've got a gsr shifter on its way in a couple of days. and i need to buy some es bushings.. i think i will buy them from that guy you mentioned.

ya that guy has a website....http://www.blackphoenixtech.com

on the website they are listed as 14.50 but if you talk to him through HT he will sell them for $13 shipped... he has fast shipping too

I'm more than happy with this mod... just makes the car feel a lot sportier, now I just need power

I drove the long way home from work just to enjoy my shifter haha.. I like it a lot

ha, i had my gsr shifter with poly bushings for over 2 years now. its a cheap and effective mod.

not claimin the original...I just though it was funny that like 3 days after my post on how I did it..I see like 4 posts on gsr with es bushings

thats good, cuz we are savin ppl from buyin cheap short shifters on ebay and having em do somethin thats oem and works even better. :goodjob:

:werd: I figure....I should enlighten people who have not gone down the shitty short shifter road like I did...luckily I found my way back to the path of OEMedness and everything turned out roses

yes.. you have saved me ... at one point i was almost | | this close to buying one of those cheap 15 dollar short shifter's off ebay.. i figured what the hey it can't be taht bad.... but now i've heard so many good things about the gsr/es combo.. i can't wait..

bambrose-- how hard was that modification you needed to do? you just had to shave a bit off the sides of the bottom of the shifter and switch bearings?

i had to do the same thing to make the gsr shifter fit my del sol linkage, so i pull the bearings out which was easy, took the shifter to the grinder and grind away, as i got it down, i measure the civic bearings up to it, little by little til i got it perfect.
