Default Good deal on SI wheels?

I've been interested in buying some SI wheels for my 99 EX for a while now. Someone in town is selling a set for $375 with some shitty tires, one has a bubble in it. Do you think this is a good deal if the wheels are in good condition? TIA

Well, if you're going to change the tires anyway to a tire of preference, and the rims are in good shape, I'd go ahead for it.

about 4 years ago, I paid $300 +shipping for my 95 GSR rims with not great, but not total shitty tires, and they were in average condition. It all depends on how fast you want the rims, how much you trust the seller, and what you feel in your gut that you shoud do. Its not a bad deal, but its up to you in the end

He blew the sidewall out of his tire. Happened to me a while back...very scary and very undrivable. I would definately wait on a better deal.

I'm selling my eagle alloy 17" right now for $500cdn rims and tires but I don't think you would be interested seeing as how by the time they reached you they would be slightly more...haha

Tell him to lower the price because of the shoddy tires. If he doesn't, tell him good luck trying to sell them.

$300 would be reasonable.

I sold mine for $700cdn (about $540us)

But the rims and factory tires only had 15,000km's.... maybe 10,000 miles.

I would rather pay a little more and get something perfect!
