Yes, you got the right one.

kudos for using a spring compressor. Many try and not use one - successfully - however it is very dangerous, especially if you like all parts of your body in fuctioning order.

Is doing it yourself ez when you have never done it before? I just have the basic tools and never done major work to my car myself.

Yea, you should be able to do it yourself no problem... get someone to help you that know a little something - if you want to make it easier on yourself - otherwise common sense and this forum should answer all your questions.

First time I did it, it took me like 3-4 hours. now it would take me like and hour.

Only thing you have to worry about is if the bolt at the bottom of the shock is frozen in place. Then things can get a little irritating.
