I know that most of the folks here think that GC's are the shiz, but I just can't seem to use another set of sleeve coilovers again. So I'm just gonna spend a little extra for a set of Tein's.

 sweet. I have nothing against Teins. I was about to save up for a set myself. If anyone would like to donate to the doood fund....let me know

But I looked at my situation, and thought, hmmmm.... springs and adjustable shocks will just fine

Yeah, I understand. Plus if I sell my Tokico/Skunks, that'll offset the cost of the Teins a little.

Since you're a mod now (congrats BTW. Now we have a twilight mod! ), you should make a sticky for the Doood/Tein fund.

How are the Koni's working out for you? My friend with a teggy is in the market for some shocks, so how do you like em? Plus how much did you get them for if you don't mind me asking?

Are your tokico's the illuminas or just the blues....if they are the illuminas i'll buy em I've been on sportlines and factory shocks for a little over 2 yrs and the shocks are still stiff as can be...i think i'm the only one that has had factory shocks with a drop and now blown them out within a year.

The Konis are working out great. So far its been only daily driving conditions for me. I havent had a chance to really put them to use yet. Tweaking and tuning gets really fun . They are definately a plus for me considering I ran a Race/stock setup for the past 5 years h:

I got them for $469 plus tax. I cant disclose the place b/c it was a friend who hooked it up.

Sweet. Good price for em too. I understand about the hookup. I'll suggest those to my friend and let him know about the rave reviews about the shocks.
