Default Hidden Kill Switch.?

Hi. I was wondering where the best place to hook up a hidden kill switch is. Not where to mount the button but what to run the wires to. Is there a wire under the dash somewhere that I can cut into? Maybe on the computer? Thanks for any info...

Kill switch hmmm... probably better to get a auto lock or get a switch on the gas pump... the car theives i spoke with know the basics of teg n civics to get past something wired near the stearing column.

yeah fuel pump is best option... its under the backseat so you can tap the wires tehre and then run the wires under the rug and center console.. to wherever u wanna hide the button

Fuel pump is the way to do it, however you have to figure out a very weird place to hide the switch and actually remember to turn it off every time you get out of the car.

The one time you leave it on, your car will probably be stolen.

i would go a step further and put the edit** splice (where you cut the existing line) further down the line.. not just under the seat... if the splice is made under the seat it would be easy to find and bipass

Not to sound like a d*ck, but wouldn't it be ironic since... it's not going to be hidden if people post their suggestions  Just saying this because I know there are thieve's that lurk the forums.

I think it would be cool if you could hook up an electronic switch to a remote. Then you could hide it where ever you want and it would be easy to turn on and off.

very good call.. thats why i personaly was not specific about where i would (if at all) cut the wire.. im making very broad generic statements to help others who may actualy do this.. if someone REALLY wants your car bad enough they will get it.. but i think that you can minimize it by things like kill switches...

worse case scenario:
they know where i spliced is not under the backseat... now to find it they basicly have to strip my car.... where i live.. that will NOT happen... no chance in hell.. so i guess what im saying is all these "ideas" are find till i say specificly where the cut is (if any) and where the switch is (if any)..

get what im saying?
