Default Rear Camber Question...

I finally ordered my springs and shocks and am getting them installed about a week from now. I ended up going with the Tein S-Tech Springs (1.9 front & 1.7 Rear) with KYB AGX Adjustable Shocks. I was wondering if anyone else has this set up and the camber specs they got when they took it to get aligned? I wanted to do the washer trick to fix the rear camber as I install the shocks since everything will be accessible but am not sure how many washers to use. Im thininking about 2....any suggestions? Also does anyone have the specs for the reaer camber of a 97 Civic Coupe? I know its not zero so I was wondering what the actual specs were so I know if the camebr is really off when I get it aligned w/ the washers on. Any help, infromation is appreciated.

do you think ill need a front camber kit? even if i ask to get toe set to specs when iget an aligment?

Use 1 washer for every inch you're lowered. It kind of depend on the thickness of the washer but I'd use 2 in the rear first and if the wheel doesn't look straight to you then add 1 more.

Toe and camber are 2 different angles, but adjusting camber affects toe. I bet your camber isn't gonna be way off though, s-tech springs aren't that low.

My suggestion: try e30's suggestion and then add/remove accordingly. It's not much of a science, more of a trail and error method.

so should i just not bother doing the washer thing, if it wont be off that much anyway?

I'd just try it first and see how it looks and if its off then add the washer...

My guess is it wont be that off.

good question i need to know the answer, as im installing the same exact setup on monday, i hear its not too hard to do and this is my first time doin suspension stuff, so i hope it goes well. i think a 00 and 97 are the same though. i also have heard that if u just get an alignment everything is alright.

alright well does anyone have the specs on what the camber should be on this model civic, for front and rear? Or any other camber readings that I can drive with, without having to use the washers and wutever. I just want toknow so when I get my alignment I will know if the camber is way outta whack or not.

I would also HIGHLY recommend that you get longer bolts along with the washers.
