gross car......if I was paying that much for a car like that, I'd start from scratch and invest my money in a project.....custom paint job, b series swap, turbo, tail light conversion..etc.

Yea BMW is not that reliable, I mean Honda is just as reliable as any other car - Bimmer has had trouble with the electronics in their engines, especially the M3. See, the thing I like about Honda over BMW is less of the engine is high-priced computer pieces in a Honda. And like i said before, a dohc is just going to sound better

M3's are notorious for having o2 sensor problems and when 1 goes out you have to replace all 4 @ 100 bucks a piece

M3 engire problems were to a very specific model, and was fixed pretty quickely.

My Parents owned/haveowned 4 BMW's and had absoulite 0 problems with any of them, and that include autocrossing one a lot, BMW are great cars, I have not seen one in the last 10 years that has had any major electrical problems, but when they do break it is going to more expensice than a honda, but hell most bmw's cost more than 2 hondas.

the new hatch si is a great car. and so is the cooper s. personally i would go with the honda. simply for the fact that i know more about them. i mean when i gotta change a belt and shit like that i know where the shits at. on a cooper ide have to start all over again.......i just wish honda would sell the type R over here......then there wouldnt be any argument on which one to buy.
