dodge blows. If you want to be trashy go buy a neon, if you're a midget buy a cooper. If you're on the honda forums, buy a Civic Si. I have one in the family and I like it. I like my B18C1 Civic better, but the Siis a hell of a fun car to drive.

There are two models of hte Mini, Copper and Coppers S the S model are the supercharged model, these cars are build and assembelded by BMW and sold under the Mini name. The Dodge is a great car and over the last 4 years Dodge Reliablity (coinsiding with Mercedes buying them) has gone way up espically in the Neon, they car and engine were completly redesigned, I know about 5 people with either Neon's or SRT 4 and have own them for over a year some even 3 now and have nothing but good things to say about them.

However I did see a civic Si at the local dealer marked down to 15,695 which is a bargin for that car, but I would still own a copper s out of all of them, speed is not everything

Personally, if I were getting a commuter car I would go with the Si just because I would fit in there better than in a Mini.

Minis are nice cars but when u start adding on stuff to them they cost some cash man i Like the SI and for the amount of what you spend on a Mini you might be able to get that much Hp out of the SI. think about it Now i could be wrong on this but i will give it a Shot. Ok you got a Mini-S which comes SC we all know this. But then you have a SI that is Not SC nor Tubro just stock but you can add a SC or tubro on the SI and i think in the long run it will push better numbers then the Mini i am not sure though. Also i know mini cost some cash to do matinace work on them cuz u have to go to the BMW dealership and they charge a arm and a leg just to look at the car Lol but they are both sweet cars in my eyes. So either one is a Good chose

And I thought that BMW was just marketing the copper, not making them, could be wrong.
Still, I'd be all over the Cooper over the si. Better designed platform, already has as much after market support, and it's a Mini! I've loved mini's since I was a kid. Shit, I love CRX's as a kid. That's how I got into cars. But why go new mini when you can import an original mini with a b16 in it cheaper, and still have honda reliability is a lighter chassis?
wait you can drop a B-series engine in an old school mini damn that's crazy I did not know that
