2001 EL: leaking struts...!?

I have a 01 SI or in the us its the EX, and at 42000k i needed a front strut replacment. I bought my honda at the acura dealership because the guys at my local honda dealership are all ass*****, so acura took care of them under warranty.

I know a guy with an 01 4dr sedan. He's struts are leaking too.
Think it's some sort of factory screw up.

Yeah, I have a 99 EX and mine started leaking after about 56k miles on it, but that might have had something to do with the 2.5 inch drop. Put some KONI Yellows on it and haven't had a problem since.
