How do you seperate the door sill from the carpet? Everytime I try, I break the fastners on the door sill?

I think the carpet should be either 'stapled' or clipped onto a thin plastic- which is attached to the sill.

 

pretty sure its just clips... or its clamped onto the sill..

That's the problem. I pull hard and the clip always breaks. So now i have a sill that i cannot reclip since the plastic post part of the sill is broken off.

It's for a 94 EX Coupe.

So w/ the right side tabs broken, how do I keeep the carpet and sill down?

 

I replaced the carpet in my 94 honda civic. I want to know where I can get door sill panels as I broke mine.

 

Please be more specific. What exactly is broken? If you need to replace the whole sill you could find it on ebay, craigslist, junk yard, etc.

And next time, just make a new thread instead of having people read four year old posts to get to your question.
