Default alright guys gettin ready to install some stuff.

alright gonna put in s-techs and AGX's on my 00 EX, now what all tools do i need, i can think of basic hand tools and a spring compressor but is there any special tool that id need? and also with s-techs do i need a camber kit?? id really like to know so i can pick one up before the install, or would i be fine with just gettin an alignment, its like a 1.7 drop about, and i hear u only need a camber kit for 2" or more.

thanks

That is what I have always heard too so I would say that you are safe man. Are you going to go to the Wichita Han meet in May?

What you listed should do I would get some Pentrating oil to losen up the bolds on the shocks. Be sure to get an aligment after you lower you car to make sure the camber is not way outta wack.

I have the exact same setup on the exact same car, click in the sticky in App/Cos forum for pics. You wont need a camber kit by the way...

actually you don't even need the spring compressor. I honestly have never seen a spring compressor small enough to fit on honda springs!!! I've lowered about 7 hondas and the fastest procedure is to just undue all the bolts but leave the 3 strut mount bolts on top. Then unscrew the actual nut holding the strut rod to the mount last. It shoots out with some force, but not like at 100mph that everybody claims it does. You don't have to follow my advise but I've replaced all 4 springs and lowered down the jack in about an hour!!!! Try to beat that time.

I have done this also and it is not really a big issue... under the bolts on the bottom forks or LCA, aim the shock so the spring will stay under the car and turn the bolr ontop of the shock slowly and the spring will basically falls of with a little bang .. but still be carefull.
