Sometimes an underdriven alternator pulley can cause the alternator to not put out a sufficient amount of power to charge your battery, power your stereo, and power all your other accessories at the same time, mainly at idle.

I would not get bigger injectors on a pretty much stock motor, the stock ones are just fine. I would also just keep the stock ignition system, again its more than fine for a basically stock engine. If you want to do anything I would start with the basics I/H/E and if you want a little more power get a cam. You could also get a better clutch such as a street/strip ACT with a heavy duty PP.

Speaking automatic coupes! (Sorry, I don't mean to take over your thread.) I just have a quick question for all of you swap techs out there. I am looking at picking up a complete automatic engine/tranny combo swap out of a JDM Acura Sir-G. Not a lot of poeple know a lot about this engine, so I am hoping I would get lucky with some answers here. I think the engine code is B18c-3 but I could be wrong. I know it is the (somewhat) equivalent to a GSR engine, but with an auto tranny and ECU. Before everyone starts trying to talk me out of it, I was just wondering what all I need to get this thing installed. The place I am getting it from says I need a new motor mount kit, is this so, and where should I get one? (They want $400 through them.) Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Well You should be able to use most of the Sir-G mounts (such as the upper driver mount, rear mount, and lower torque mounts). The only thing I'm not sure about is the tranny mount since you will be going from auto d to auto b. I would assume though that you could use the stock Sir-G auto mount. Hope this helps some
