If you're looking for BIG power, you might consider Edelbrock's new PerformerX turbo kit for the D16 engine you currently have. I know you'd like to do a swap, but this kit comes with an intercooler, blow off valve, fuel system parts, and everything else needed for installation and boosts the EX's output to 176 whp (according to Edelbrock), which is more than a stock B18C5 (Integra Type-R) engine. Plus it's 50-state legal. The kit sells for about $3500. Check it out.

I'd save the money and get a greddy kit and buy all the additional pieces of my choice.

Turbo is not an option I want to get rid of this motor several problems with it? Right now I think I'm sticking with the b20 or the b18b. Which would be the easier install? If I get the b20 it bolt in with stock mounts? but I have to get another intake manifold? Can I use the one off my d16y8? Also people please give more opinions on these 2 motors as I only have like another day to decide

for either motor, you will need b-series mounts. Your y8 intake manifold will not work on the B20, you'll need an LS manifold. Ultimately, the LS will be a little easier, only because you don't need to hunt down an alternator, transmission, clutch and flywheel separately (since the CRV came automatic, and the crv tranny doesn't work in a civic/teg)... you can buy them as a "complete swap" package w/ the B18B. W/ the B20, you'd need to buy those parts individually.
