Dude...my computer monitor blows up, and then forums merge. Interesting.

I gotta say I'm not really one for the merge...Think about the community you're working with. And think what they prefer. The Sol community, mostly seems to buy Sols, because of how different they are, and seem to enjoy the small tight-nit group of people with a similar interest, similar taste in cars. They didn't buy the Sol because it was cheap, or fuel-efficient, and could haul just enough around, but for a totally different purpose...to be different, to not be thrown in there as being "just another Honda owner."

As similar as the cars are, the types of people that drive them are different, and I don't think throwing the Solers in with the Civics are going to be a good thing. Solers in my experience, like to keep to their own.

Of course, I may be stereotyping a little, forgive me for that, not all Solers are the same. But I take this from my experiences with the Solers I come in contact with, as well as how I feel about it. And judging by many of the posts in this thread, it looks like many of them feel the same.

My 2¢...if ya'll keep to the merge, I'll check back once in a while...but not nearly as often as I used to...there's too many forums I know of that have an all-Sol community offered for this to remain high on the list.

not to be a dick or anything. Thats not my intintion here, but....

lol, I didn't know you are one person or another based on the car you drive.

take my friend who drives a del sol. Me and him are real similar. Go figure. We both drive honda's, and we both enjoy the company of other honda drivers. Even more so is the fact that while our cars are almost the same, they're not even close.

come on, its like social integration. Or were we all happy segrigated?

I say again, does it really matter that much. Is the information not there anymore? Everything is still around, just in a bigger collective. Whats the issue here? Whats to complain about?

or is it for the sake of complaining?

Emily's back! Hey you! FYI, most of us Sol regulars are congregating [...]. The rest are either staying here, or splitting off to AT and SolSociety.
