Default best value b16(sir2)vs b18(gsr)

What up!
This is my deal. i got my first car a 94 hb cx last summer and when i got I/H/E
i got hooked like a baby hooked on crack (now im ****ed for life)
shortly after thoes upgrades i worked on the suspension. First with neuspeed F/R strut bars, lower tie bar, energy suspesion bushings, eibach prokit,16' black Icon rims, dynalite Wilwoods, and Brembo rotors. Now the car can hold its shit togeather when i beat its pussy by my Brake late, downshift slide and exploded throught the apex style of all day all night all the time driving the shit out of her ( thats why i have no liscence now) ****.
my car aint all that fast 16sec flat q/m with 16' rims.
but it handels like its on rails(honestly)

but i just need MORE POWER. so my problem now is what will make me fast for the best buck, and long term. b18c (gs-r)4,500 vs B16a (sir2)3,300 (installed)the price difference betwwen the two is $1,200 cdn$

the power difference is 10hp and 12fpt
what can i do to make that b16a faster than the b18c for the same $ or less
i was thinking about a new fly wheel, intake manifold, and port and polish 3/5 angle valve job.
what are your suggestions?
i know a gs-r will run about a 13.8-14.00 in my car stock. my whip is gutted. Bones Ottawa Canada.

:lmao: . . . Ahh yes. I remember how I thought before I swapped. If thats what you think, you might want to consider getting a H22 or ITR.

Depends on how much work you want to put in. With the 1200 you could put in new cams or high compression pistons on the b16a2, but for stock power b18 all the way.

no replacement for displacement

the B16A is a fun motor to play with. higher redline and the VTEC screams louder. the B18C has more torque and will always pull harder than the B16A. you cant go wrong with either. i prefer the B18C.

Where are you getting your prices from? $4500 installed for a b18c? I got my b18c from hmotorsonline for $3350 shipped and a guy is helping me put it in for $500. Thats a total of $3850.

lol, no doubt, people think adding 35-40 more wheel hp will drop a mid 16 second car into 13's.
