I agree with the above. Also you CAN switch back to regular oil with no problem.

synthetic doesn't burn unless your motor already burns oil. synthetic doesn't create leaks, it only leaks worse where there were leaks before.

Just a stupid thought, but say someone was burning oil. Wouldnt it be better to have synthetic in? because synthetic burns 10 times hotter than normal oil(Or something in that area). Wouldnt you feel less loss of power?

Durign engine break in, you want to use a conventional oil, so that things arent' TOO slippery, and seat properly, as engine mileage increases, it is more acceptable to switch to a synthetic to mitigate frictional wear.

:werd: That is because the particles in the Syn are smaller than the normal Dino oil. Example is u could be running Dino oil and have no leaks, but when u put the Syn in the particle are smaller and it starts to leak, it didn't leak with the normal Dino oil b/c the particles were to big to get out. But you should be able to change back to normal oil, its just when u change to Syn that u have to watch it.
