To me, Hayame is kinda in the same line as Tenzo. Though they don't seem like a high quality brand, I haven't heard of any complaints from their products.

I know that people seem to like their exhausts but in terms of their other products, recommending them is kinda iffy. I guess you could be the brave soul and try it out and tell us how it works out for you.

Thanks well I got another quick question. Here is the link to where I want to buy the kit from http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2459179970 id like to point out the following about this particualr kit: "This setup uses 3 locknuts as opposed to 2. What does that mean for you? With most coilovers, the lower you go, the worse the ride. That is because with coilovers like Tein and other brands, you adjust the spring perch (the part the spring sits on) to lower your car. When you lower your car, you are compressing the springs and shocks at the same time which adds stress on them. With the Hayame coilovers, you are not adjusting the perch, but actually the length of the strut. This allows the shock to retain full stroke and gives you the same ride at 2" as you would get at full height."

Does this mean I would not have to purchase new shocks with this kit as well?

Hayame is a reputable brand. I deal with their products at work. Compared to Tenzo and OBX...Hayame is FAR superior. Unlike Tenzo and OBX which outsource to Taiwan and cheap material, all of Hayame products are made of high quality CNC aluminum and have CARB certified numbers on their intake and exhaust products.

Well, looking at the pic of the coilovers, it seems that they also utilize the same height adjusting design as any other coilover out there on the market. I don't see the third locking nut that they're talking about.

Well, what's different with this compared to the sleeve coilover/shock combo is that when you lower the car, you're not compressing the shock along with it. This is what they mean by retaining full stroke at any height.

Though this set looks appealing through it's wording (along with tossing name brands like Tokico), I'm still weary about this purchase. If you weren't ordering this from ebay, I'd say go for it. But I don't want to suggest it, then somewhere along the line, you experience problems with it, and you don't really have an option of who to consult to help you fix it.

Maybe others would see this post and give their opinions on it.
