Do you have a FMU? I still think its a v-afc hack. You have injectors and a v-afc, but no Blue Box or Hondata. Pretty sure its afc-hack. If so, and you don't have one already, get a FMU. FMU really helps smooth things out.

Also, you may want a Map Sensor diffuser if you don't have one already.

don't think he can run the hack with 310 injectors, unless he reads really low boost

I ran 440 injectors with a v-afc hack and I was running 10-12psi.

But then I got a FMU and fuel pump, and it did wonders!

ok i just talked to the guy that did the swap...

he said i have a

Jackson Racing FMU (any good?) and
440cc injectors

so im guessing thats actually way better than the blue box, which i definitly do not have!

So.. then i can now run the VAFC hack... oh, do i need a fuel pump for that??

im thinking since im only running 6 psi, i can easily go to -40 or so.. maybe -36 to be on safe side..

thanks for the input!

You won't need to run a afc-hack if you have a FMU. Just get it tuned...its alot better that way. I was running a v-afc, 440's, Vortech FMU, and a Walbro 255 fuel pump...and I had it about -45 on the settings. It was like night and day after I got it tuned though. I would HIGHLY suggest getting in tuned asap.

ok well i dont know how soon i can get it tuned.. i thought today, but no.

so.. when i take it to the dyno in my area, they dont tune anything for you, they just do the pulls.

so tuning, is just a matter of the VAFC, and im going to have to set that all up myself, which sucks.. but once i get the O2 seeing my proper air/fuel then ill be good to go to tune it ...

alrighty then.......

oh.. as a substitute to getting it tuned at dyno, can i just put a voltmeter on my O2 sensor and adjust the VAFC by when it says rich/lean...

also, i really think that when the VTEC kicks in, its either rich or lean, because i dont think its hitting like its supposed to.. and my little air/fuel autometer goes into red.......

think the FMU would restrict some of the gas flow ??? let me know, i have no idea how those work. thanks.
