Thats why you ALWAYS hear a lot of tuned domestics (i.e. Mustangs) sounding sick/throaty...at like FORD day at the tracks...haha

i understand that an agressive cam will make a car idle hard but what is an agressive cam and is it bad? still a n00b in some areas :af:

aggressive cam means it has alot of duration and lift...which makes the idle very rough.

it was ment as a joke...you would have had to buy a different cam and installed it for you to have an "aggressive" cam....they were making it as a joke because muscle cars with big ass cams in them tend to have a very rough idle because of the extended lift and duration.

Just do a minor tune-up if you haven't in a while or don't know when the last time one was done. Cap, rotor, plugs, wires, and get your timing checked. Not saying this is gonna fix it but it never hurts to get it done if you don't know when it was done.

Alright, thanks for the help supermac and the rest who gave advice. Probably would have been better if the whole "aggressive cam" thing wouldn't have been said. hjerk:
