Default AGX settings

Hey all,

I think this has been covered, but not for my application. I've got some AGX shocks on a 96 4dr Civic LX with the SI rear sway bar and stock springs. What would be a good setting to start with? What do you guys use? Right now I'm at 2 in the front and 4 in the back. What have you had luck with? Right now I'm driving in snow and slush, so handling isn't on the top of my list. In the spring/summer it'll be a different story.

Thanks for the insite!!

only way to tell is to set it at each, and see what feels good to you

Well yesterday when it was sunny, I had it set at 4 front 8 rear. :naughty:

Just play around with it when the snow goes away. I normally run 2 front and 5 rear.

Are you using stock springs?

Right now I am. The driveways in the town I live in suck. They go at a 45 degree angle. Later on I'll put coil-overs on.

I've got the ones for a teg on my sol, and I leave em on 4 all the time all the way around. (for the tegs they only go to 4 front and back)
It ends up plowing at times, but for the most part, it just stays steady as hell. I'm running 450lb/in front, 350 rear. With stock springs, I'd probably go pretty low on the front. MAybe 2... And somewhere near the middle on the rear. 5-6 in your case.

you should really start them at 1 if you have stock springs then gradually build up if you think it's neccessary. you will be limited by your soft stock springs

I had them initially set at 2 front, 4 rear. Now am at 4 front and rear.

It's all personal preference.
