Default them brake changes

ok i'm planning to help change my own rear brakes for my 93 civic sedan. they're drum brakes so i'm wondering if anyone has any tips to make things go faster/smoother. we've got a haynes manual and my friend's quite knowledgeable but i'm always happy to have some h-a imput

thanks!

A lot of people say it's a ***** to do, but I think it's a ***** effort wise and not skill wise. You shouldn't have any major problems.

I however would do a rear disc swap before I would ever change brake shoes.

I think that the only difficult process would be the installation of the new e-brake lines and bleeding the brakes when you're done. Other than that, a quality set of tools should help you move along a lot quicker.

drum puller. Cost, maybe 15 bucks. Result, a lot less of a headache.
