Thats sweet that Mazda is bringing it back. I'm interested to see what the new 3 is like seeing I have a '93 mazda 323 and the 3 is the next logical step. As was the 6 replacing the 626.
And how was it not an auto-x? There were cones, it was a timed lap around a smaller track in an empty parking lot. Sure it was fun and you got to really hand it to the cars as much as you'd like without worry of breaking your own car, but it sure looked like an auto-x to me///
Anyway....CvicSiRacer, PM me when you know which Mazda event you're going to. I would love to meet you finally and witness your driving abilities first hand...

maybe I could learn something...

CivicSiRacer: you should look into getting to the point (if you're not already there) where you can start to run your own classes or beginner auto-x tutorials...charge for it. Schedule ono-on-one appointments with people...
may be an interesting business oppurtunity.

ive only been auto-xing once. it was a blast. i dont have the money or time to keep doing it but i want to. do you guys have links to those schols mentioned above? my car is mostly stock. i was in csp.
it doesn't take much money or time to autocross. all you need is a car and $25 whenever you feel like racing. go to scca.org and follow links to your local region to find a schedule, then just show up! (some regions require online pre-registration)
