Default another crashed car

this is my girls car, does it look like the car is fixable from the damages. OR does it look like the insurance company might call it a loss.

A utility trucks didnt look into the street when reversing and she couldnt stop fast enough.

OH YA the couldnt start after the crash.

Just my exgirl was in the car, and its all the other drivers fault, the police did the report and he also said its there fault. The engine didnt start so we had to push it home, which was only 2 blocks away. i think its a goner, if it is should i swap the interior before the insurance company takes a look at it, or should i do it after. Will they take the car if they say its a loss?

if you want the interior you might want to do that BEFORE the insurance company looks at it, because if it is totaled then they factor in everything into the settlement and then you can't take anything out of the car. I had just bought a 95 integra and 2 weeks later someone hit me and it was totaled and the insurance company looked at it and i couldn't even take my cd player out of the car after that Oh yeah and if they say it is a total loss they will ask for the title to the car so yes they will take the car unless you want to keep it and then they will subtract the salvage price from the settlement price.

man if it is totaled and you have full coverage, and you want the insurance money they take the car dude...if you want to keep the car then you can buy it back from the insurance company with a salvage title
