Default how idle control works on 97 lx

i tried searching and looked in my service manual, haynes, and etc. with no luck, does anyone know or have the diagram/ picture of how idle is controlled in cold and warm temps? Im having some probs, and is there a way to test the IACV without taking it off? Thanks.

It's all on the cold idle valve for warm up, the rest is basically controlled through the ecu, IAC and TB. Gotta open up the cold idle valve to adjust it... fun....

how about once its warmed up, does the idle still control then? i see it has coolant lines to it, it just runs in relation to the coolant type?

not on a 96-00 lx dude. you can only play with the idle adjust screw.
