i've been loking at new exhaust for my civic, its a VX with a b18b. i have found that some exhaust systems "will not fit" even though they are made for the si's i was just wondering if this problem can be solved with a custom streight pipe?
You could always get a muffler shop to make you all the piping and then just weld a muffler on to the end of it. It's sometimes hard to find full systems prefabed for swaps
i hate the sound of custom exhaust systems and i want somthing madral bent, i can get the headers to connect to a prefabbed system i just want to be able to use the stock hangers

I modified an integra exhaust to fit my vx hatch. I had to make an extention to make the header collector reach the exhaust, but was still able to use all the stock hanger locations. Whatever exhaust youre considering, I sure the hanger locations match from the back forward (starting at the muffler hangers, then the axle-area hanger, then the two middle hangers--if that makes sense). If you're just having trouble matching the header collector or cat to the exhaust, just have a little pipe fabbed. You shouldn't have any hanger problems
