a friend of mine wants to sell me his car, it's a 93 hb, jdm b16a with a jr supercharger, and some really nice ice. how can i check out the engine and stuff to make sure they're ok, i don't know how he drives the car but at the look it looks well keeped

 

Take it to a mechanic and have tem check it out for ya!

 

you could do this really easily yourself. check for any leaking fulids, take a test drive, do a leakdown and compression test. compression tells a lot. and also if u turn it on, any colored smoke? ask for maintenence records, all documentation from the swap so you don't get hot parts

i kno its your friend but do the check to save your own ass if anything occured w/o u knowing

 

Check who did the swap, A leak down test can also find things you wouldnt with a compression test. You can also check the condition of the plugs. How many miles on the car, swap, and charger. Its probably been driven hard. I know my hybrid has.
