i agree fully... its at least the speed sensor.. thats probably whats causeing the speedometer to not read and as stated vtec to not engage.. but would that make it run rich??? not too sure about that...

side note... it also amazes me that people continue to drive there cars when they are in this state..

Spoon makes stuff for D-series? :wtf:

I would say it's the speed sensor also.

o-c civic, my dad welds and fabs drag cars wich mainly deals with the frames.duh! and he is one of those old school v8 guys he dont know much about the bumble bees is what he calls them. so you guys think it the speed sensor because somtimes ill be goinin 20mph and the gauge will be reading 120,70 itll just flick back and forth.

well sure.. the speed sensor would cause it to act like that.. AND may also lead to your lack of vtec... but the running rich thing im not too sure about..

its an intake dude not a cam or anything. you can pretty much throw a spoon intake on most civic d series engines.
