lighter alternative that i do.....
go spend $2 on a roll of fiber fill for pillows....then pack any open crevaces and under the carpet. Makes a pretty big difference and it weighs ounces.

stopped all rattles in an 89 corolla i used to have, and no rattles at all on my civic.
