I dont think you will be able to track your car. My friend wasnt able to track his car because of shaved door handles (CA Speedway). I guess its up to you.... but I'd say "nah"

I'm thinking about shaving my door handles. I got the tools and everything and know how to do it. The only thing is that I'm just wondering what the pro's and con's to doing this? Is it a bad idea or is it good? Will the actuators hold up or burn out quickly? Any input would be helpful.
if I was into bodykits i'd do it.

If you race your car at any drag strip, they require that you have door handles. And it will really suck when your battery dies.

same thing with shaving the moulding off. i used to have it all shaved, but over time and with my rather harsh suspension, it started to pop out and parts of it eve started cracking. i regret ever doing that, because it basically ruined my nice paint job. the only thing i dont regret shaving on my car is the antenna above the driver door and adding the jetta one.
