I dont think you will be able to track your car. My friend wasnt able to track his car because of shaved door handles (CA Speedway). I guess its up to you.... but I'd say "nah"
Originally posted by vang I'm thinking about shaving my door handles. I got the tools and everything and know how to do it. The only thing is that I'm just wondering what the pro's and con's to doing this? Is it a bad idea or is it good? Will the actuators hold up or burn out quickly? Any input would be helpful.

same thing with shaving the moulding off. i used to have it all shaved, but over time and with my rather harsh suspension, it started to pop out and parts of it eve started cracking. i regret ever doing that, because it basically ruined my nice paint job. the only thing i dont regret shaving on my car is the antenna above the driver door and adding the jetta one.
