Before I swapped and had bolt-ons (CAI/H/E, external coil, iridium plugs, clutchmasters stage1, AEM pulleys) it ran a 17.1 at best. I was a really bad driver then - FYI.

:edit: im talking about the sedan..
Seriously, a high 16 would be good for that engine in N/A form. A single cam 1.5l designed for a conservative commute-o-box doesn't have much in the way of performance pontential.
For any of you other DX/LX guys out there, please chime in if you've done better.
Originally posted by NeverBX so if i out ZC pistons in my Y8 i will have a CR of 13.12? and stock is 9.6.
does that sound right?
Yes, the Y8 head has a small combustion chamber and the ZC piston is domed for higher compression, so mating the two would give you probably the highest CR possible with stock D-series parts.
i ran a 16.4 with a stock dx coupe. it wasn't hard to do just some good driving. i want to see what i can squeeze aout of a n/a singlecam, while being reliable.
