VTEC vs. Si
so.... new sol....
looked at this: http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...or=&cardist=25
it was nice, very clean, no major damage or even dents to speak of. for an 8 year old car with 128k mi it was great. the center compartment door was broken.... but beyond that it was a really really nice car. they guy is out of town for the week, but he told us directions to his house and even left the car unlocked
he also has it rigged for a trailer hitch :wtf:
heres the catch, its an Si. how big of a step down is it from the VTEC?
when i found that out, i decided i wouldnt pay over $5500 for it, more like $5000 is what im gonna ask for, i just want to know if the Si is a smart move or should i keep on looking for the VTEC.

VTEC has bigger breaks, ABS, rear sway bar, strut tower bar, VTEC performance bar, B16 (of course), and...
But whatever you get, get a 95 and up cause it's got the gas light and a trunk popper.
Good luck

true, you need to upgrade it to make the power. BUT, if something goes wrong, cheap to replace. and also, all that other stuff can be put on, or even get better parts for it, so thats why base model stuff is always okay in my book (well for hondas)
