The "VTEC Performance Bar" goes under the car, under the engine somewhere. It's not a lower front tie bar, it's something else. I can't describe it. Got to www.teamsol.com and look for it there.

That's a special case, too.

I'm tired of seeing people jack up the prices for cars they think are rare or special. A del Sol is a pop-top Civic, no denying that, so when I see high milage del Sol VTEC's listed in the post for $7-9k, I can't help but wonder how big of an idiot the seller is. Two to four times the price of a Civic just for a T-top and two less seats is absurd.

$5k is still a long stretch, IMHO.

It really varies between areas.

The blue book “private party” is a good basic guide; I found that Edmunds is more accurate.
An even better guide is the average price asked for in your area.

The Civic is a car that keeps it value, a good condition low mileage 94 Civic can easily be ~4000$, so a Del Sol can certainly be a bit more....

In this specific case 5000$ is a stretch because of the high mileage, but again, it depends on the area….

www.nada.com

its what the insurance places commonly use. it alot more accurate than either carfax or edmunds (edmunds values a used 03 SRT-4 with 1 mile at something like $11,000-13,000 )

NADA says that a 95 del sol with 100k miles is

S: $4,325-$6,300
Si: $5,175-$7,325
VTEC: $5,775-$7,950

now, these are for my zip code, and they are about right, give or take. i wouldnt pay $6000 for an S, but someone would.
